ABOUT

I was introduced to the software field in 2018 during my training at Intel Corp. In November 2018, I pursued web development full time & enrolled in Lambda School's (Bloomtech Institute of Technology) computer science curriculum.

I was certified in Computer Science with an emphasis in Web Development by Lambda School in May 2020. Lambda School is a fully remote software development school with tracks in Computer Science, iOS development, and Data Science. Through my Team Lead internship with Lambda School, I gained experience building full-stack applications with cross functional teams. After my studies I worked as a Lambda School Computer Science Team Lead providing code reviews and whiteboard pair programming for 9 students from the Web Development and Data Science track.

In 2019 I was a Frontend Software Engineer at NIKE. There, I worked on a headless CMS allowing users to author and publish NIKE marketing content. The CMS platform powered applications such as Nike App, Nike Training Club (NTC), Nike Run Club (NRC), and SNKRS. Tooling I used included React, Typescript, GraphQL, Apollo, UI Component libraries, AWS elastic search, and more. Then in 2022 I began work as Full-stack Software Engineer at Homebound Technologies where I led UI and system design to power procurement features such as budget projections, bid requests, automated billing, invoicing and more. Tooling included React, Typescript, GraphQL, Apollo, Jest, Mocha, AWS, Docker, and Knex.

I currently live in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon with my husband. We enjoy kayaking on the Scapoose river, and exploring Oregon's unique trails and rivers.
